The Future Is Built from an Early Age: The Value of Soft Skills
Dear Parents and Guardians,
In a world where technology is advancing at an unprecedented pace and the demands of modern life are constantly evolving, at Happy Learners we recognise that children’s education cannot be limited to academic knowledge alone.
That is why we are investing in the present, but above all in the future of our students, through our new educational project, “Soft Skills Centre.”
As part of this initiative, we participate in the SOFT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT programme of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Having successfully completed the required certification, we have developed a modern and holistic educational programme that combines foreign language learning with the development of essential life skills.
What do our students learn in the classroom?
Alongside learning a foreign language, our students learn how to:
- communicate effectively,
- collaborate and work as part of a team,
- take initiative,
- develop critical thinking skills,
- present their ideas with confidence,
- manage and resolve differences,
- believe in their own abilities.
Social and personal skills (soft skills) are now considered essential for both academic development and children’s future personal and professional lives.
What does the “Soft Skills Centre” include?
Our new programme incorporates specific tools and educational methods designed to develop essential life skills.
Our teachers receive ongoing training so that they can integrate social and personal skills into the learning process in a pedagogically sound and effective way.
Your involvement and the collaboration between families and educators are particularly important. Your guidance, encouragement and support can make a meaningful contribution to your children’s development.
Our students will receive a Certificate of Knowledge in Social Skills, recognising their participation and progress.
For us, learning a foreign language is about much more than acquiring another academic skill. It is an opportunity to help children grow into capable, creative and collaborative individuals, with confidence and belief in their abilities, ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
The “Soft Skills Centre” represents a new educational philosophy for our school:
We learn the language, develop essential skills and build the foundations for the future.
Thank you for your trust and continued cooperation.
We look forward to taking this important step together towards a brighter future for our children!
