What is personal data?
The term “personal data” refers to information of individuals, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, etc., which identify or may identify you, hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data or Data”.
What is Personal Data Processing?
Any operation or sequence of operations performed with or without the use of automated means, in Personal Data or in personal data sets such as collection, registration, organization, structure, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, the search for information, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other form of disposal, association or combination, restriction, deletion or destruction.
What Data do we collect?
- During your visit and navigation on our website we do not collect your Data, except what is collected from cookies, which are detailed in the Cookies Policy here.
- When enrolling students in our curriculum, their details and the details of their guardian are collected, and more specifically, name, surname, date of birth of the student and name, phone number and e-mail address of the guardian.
For what purpose do we process your data?
We collect your Data exclusively for the purposes of the services provided on our website and in particular to make it possible to communicate with you and to enroll students in our curriculum.
What is the legal basis for the processing of your Data by HAPPY LEARNERS?
We have the right to process your personal data mentioned above based on our legal interests or the consent you have given us.

Only the absolutely necessary staff of HAPPY LEARNERS, which is committed to maintaining confidentiality, as well as the accounting office that cooperates with us, have access to your Data:

Do we send your Data abroad?
Your Personal Data is stored and processed only within the European Union.
When do we delete your Data?
We retain your Data for as long as necessary in order to provide you with the services you request from us, unless an extension of this time is required due to legal claims or legal obligations of HAPPY LEARNERS.
Is your Data secure?
Recognizing the importance of the security of your Personal Data, we have taken all appropriate organizational and technical measures to secure and protect User Data from any unauthorized access, misuse, tampering, prohibition, disclosure, loss or accidental / incorrect destruction and any other form of unfair treatment. These measures shall be reviewed and amended as necessary.

Exercise of Rights concerning the Data of the users
To exercise your above mentioned rights, you can submit a written request to us either at 54 Pentelis Ave., Chalandri – 15234, Athens, or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
HAPPY LEARNERS responds to your requests without delay, and in any case within one (1) month from the receipt of the Request. However, if your request is complex or there is a large number of requests, we will inform you within the month if we need to receive an extension of another two (2) months within which we will respond to you.
In case you do not receive an answer within the above deadline or the answer you receive is not satisfactory or your issue has not been resolved, you can contact the Personal Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Do we use automated decision making / including profiling when processing your Data?
HAPPY LEARNERS does not make decisions, nor does it profile users, based on automated processing of User Data, except in case of use of “cookies” on the website, always after your notification and consent.
What is the applicable law when we process your Data?
Applicable Law is the Greek Law, as formulated in accordance with the General Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data 2016/679 / EU, and in general the current national and European legislative and regulatory framework for the protection of personal data. The competent courts for any emerging disputes related to the User Data are the Courts of Athens.
How will you be notified of any changes to this Policy?
This Policy is updated whenever necessary. If there are significant changes to the Policy or the way User Data is processed, an update will be posted on the HAPPY LEARNERS website before the changes take effect where visitors / users can be informed.
